Description
So, this is what I've been working all day long. Thanks to my Bro, , I manage to get this.Things going funnier and crazy when we work. The best part is, he is from Mexico and I am from Malaysia. That's far ~~
How we work like that? LOL ~~ You got to try the TeamViewer shit.. It's fun software to use.
The other is controlling your PC while you're watching. I recommend you to use that for educative program like Blender.
But, better got someone to trust first.
SPECIAL THANKS GOES TO :
- Konami / Platinum Games / Kojima Productions for the original model.
- for the converted model.
- Raiden by Rexil.
- Blender Foundation - for the amazing program.
- XNALara / XPS for posing program.

yh I indeed am, I'm getting back into the habit of using Blender, I'm still a beginner, I havent used it in a while due to not having tech specs on my laptop and having some problems with the program.
is some of your blender stuff on your account?

Well, that sucks. Patient man. No. I actually keep them to myself but I also share some to friends. What you need?

You look like you need something for your Blender project it seems. Did you need material or what? Just note me and I'll see what I can do for you.

really? Β nice man, Β but I'm a little confused with things like nodes, and also I'm wanting to create interiors in Blender as well as characters (which i think Characters will take a long time to make espically for beginners like me and have no idea on how to rig and animate them)

That sounds difficult to me. I never trying animating in Blender yet. Just rendering for the time now. There's Google and you find lots of material and tutorial when you search for some. Try looking up on YouTube too. There's plenty out there and with basic tutorial too.

well I'm not taking an interest in rigging or animating in Blender, I'm just wanting to know bits of blender like the nodes and how to do like shiny and other effects on my works if u know what i mean
So if you know anything about that, that be much appriated

I can't really tell you how. Not without seeing it and explaining it to you at the same time. Blender is complicated program. It's not like sometjing that can be explain easily. Not without basic and some practicizing over it.

so basically from your prospective, a program like 3DS Max or Maya is more better?

IshikaHiruma In reply to AshBrad93 [2013-07-27 22:51:21 +0000 UTC]
Yeah because it is better than Blender. Those program interface is user friendly too. All can be done in at that time. Unlike Blender, you need to sort it out one by one and can be a long process for the final result. Not to mention you need to test every result to get the best quality. Of course the other program is like that too because it's a common thing. If I were the one who like to creating characters or any other type of 3D model, I'll definitely choose 3DS Max or even ZBrush. Not sure about Maya though. Never seen before how the program works.

u have 3DS Max or Maya then?

Haven't yet but I already see how 3DS Max works. Thinking of getting a copy of it but still not sure though. And I didn't have the time to go to the city right now. But trust me for this, 3DS Max is better for 3D modelling.

I see, well I hope to get 3DS Max and Maya, but it's just the problem of getting it. Β I'm wanting to get the educational version so that way it's kinda free and legal

There's tutorial at their website too~ It's not that hard when you want something to works right? I too, doesn't even know how to render on Blender for the first time. I follow any tutorial I found, experimentating it a bit, ask for advice around people and BOOM! I create something that I never knew I could make it. It's just about effort I think.

IshikaHiruma In reply to AshBrad93 [2013-07-27 23:16:39 +0000 UTC]
Still the same topic. Just a little motivation for you there if you really interested in character modeling I guess. For me, I choose Blender as my workflow to the rendering process. And as for you, you seems interested in creating something in it. It's a different process but same program means same motivation to work it. Did you get it or did I still need to explain more?

hmm maybe so, but of course I still haven't had any exp in both 3DS Max or Maya yet, since Blender is the only 3D Program I've had exp with, Β I'll just have to get use to Blender for the time being until I can find out if I get 3DS Max or Maya (by my college's permission)

That's nice. But if I were you, I'll definitely choose 3DS Max. Have you ask your friends about this?

AshBrad93 In reply to IshikaHiruma [2013-07-27 23:27:12 +0000 UTC]
friends? Β there's not really people who do 3D Modelling, I'm the only one outta my class who does have an interest in it.
I'll try and get 3DS Max as soon as possible, but it is the case of having college's permission and being able to use it properly. Β

That is surely sucks. But it's fine. At least you have some interest to it. Let them be.
Do you really need to ask a permission using this kind of software at your place? It's weird because it's a free educational software to use.
