Quick question, i think the paws on my pelt still have the bones in them o.o ? They have kind of a funny smell to them too. should i just leave them as is and wipe them with rubbing alcohol to get rid of the smell, or re-hydrate them..? im not quite sure what to do XD;

Rehydrate them. If they had bones, after rehydrating you will be able to see it clearly, and if it has, remove them. Remove all the things inside paws that dont have to be there, just leave a "clean" paw. You can put a bit of bicarbonate for 3-5 days to remove the smell ^^ before mount the pelt, remove it

Cool that the paws are in such a good condition. I have seen many pelts where the soles or paw-pads were cut off.

Yeah they always are very stiff. I think they must stay in water nearly an hour?

It depends of the temperature of the water and the feets, these skunk is small, so she rehydrated soon
