My babies!!!
I told ya I'd make a chibi set for my characters in that cute little chibi style I've been experimenting in one of my streams.
I noticed that I actually drew similar chibis a few years ago , so it's actually not really new just more or less back to the roots with my current art style~
And I'm not crying at all about how they turned out. These are so cute...
I actually planned to do only Avarus and Saira to put them on my profile, when I started these. They should have been
cell-shaded pagedolls, while the set I planned on doing, should have been coloured in my normal style. And I'd have used
the chibis I sketched here . But I failed with cell-shading again and I coloured them per usual. While colouring
Avarus I thought I could just make a kind-of-pagedoll for all of my characers~
Soooo and since they are sometimes a little different to my normal chibi style I'll add them to
my Art Trades and Commissions as new category and call them Walnut Chibis.
Story time!
When I was thinking about how I could call this style I thought about how I start drawing sketches for chibis, especially their bodies and poses. I thought"That always looks like a walnut, oooh Walnut Chibi. That's perfect!" After a day I noticed that I actually meant a peanut not a walnut. But Walnut Chibi sounds much cuter in my ears so I kept it.

Avarus: What can I say about this one? He’s looking as smouldering hot as ever, but I love how much attitude he has here from his sharp smirk to the foot over the one knee and the hands behind his head. He looks like he’s laying on the beach in a way. His red eyes are really expressive here—I love it.
Saira: The bookworm after my own heart. I love the fact that she’s always reading something—and it makes me curious about what she’s picked up this time. I have to say, I like the way her swallowtail coat tails flare out in this picture and the little details, like the reflective surface of her glasses. She’s beautiful.
Darya: Darya! She’s absolutely stunning here I love her little confident smile and the way she’s just kicking back and waving at the viewer. Her hair is amazing—I love the textures you’ve put into it. I feel as if she’s going to flick it out of her face at any moment—that’s how alive she seems. And, I love that we can see the details in her jewelry in this picture as well.
Thanatos: He’s so adorable here! I want to hug him so much! The contrast between his white hair and the rest of his hair stands out so well. I love how his eyes seem to have lit up here—I wonder why he’s so excited?
Zilia: She’s so badass. That’s all I can say. The baseball bat, the toothpick, her pose—it all adds to the effect of her badassness. Also, I love the eye colour here—it’s particularly captivating since it contrasts with her pink hair.
Laneia: She’s gorgeous, as usual. The details on her outfit stand out so well—from her jewellery to the pattern on her dress, you can see the effort that went into her design. Weirdly, the fact that she’s holding a hot drink makes me think that she’s sharing one with Krenar.
Krenar: I love this character. He’s such a gentle soul. His heterochromatic hair and purple eyes are really striking here. And, as per usual he’s having a lovely cup of tea.
Richard. Aww, there’s the adorable little bard—and he looks so sweet here. I love the pose you’ve chosen for him so we can see all the details of his design, from the lute to his wonderful boots, and even his gorgeous green eyes. I think the beauty mark comes across really well here.
Peggy: She looks so cute. I love the way you’ve drawn her legs so that it looks like she’s kicking her feet and the tiny music note to show she’s whistling. It’s such a typical pose for a young child! As always, I’m loving her fluffy hair.
Makaro: I still want to give him a hug so badly. The way that you’ve drawn him huddled in on himself is great and his eyes are really captivating. I like that he’s not looking directly at the viewer, but instead is looking off to the side, as if he’s deep in thought.

Avarus: Maybe you’re remembered of the beach picture I did in the double meme because it’s a very similar pose, except for there you can only see his torso
Saira: It’s actually bothering me a little that she’s only seen as bookworm and that I don’t draw her with something else, like a laptop or anything else from her laboratory. She loves reading but the fact about books has a rather scientific background and not just for oy 
Thanatos: Ask him about something he’s not excited about 
Zilia: I never even noticed that her pink hair are a perfect contrast to her eyes 
Laneia: That’s why I put her right next to Krenar to make them look as if they share tea time
Peggy: The typical pose for a young child is actually pretty amusing thinking about Peggy’s character

I love drawing eyes, it's my favourite part to do while drawing. ♥
And for the poses, I try to make them as different as possible to avoid making a set look boring. I'm always afraid having too many chibis on one set that look the same

I love Richard's pose and of course all the lil details of his lute you always do so great with.
And oh my god...Krenar is always so adorable as a chibi..I love how big and poofy his mustache looks in chibi form. ;3; And of course he looks elegant as always, with his tea. x'D Laneia also looks really beautiful and peaceful, and I'm still in love with her color scheme.
PEGGY AND MAKARO ARE TWO OF MY FAVES HERE HOH MAN!! I think Peggy's pose is my favorite here, it's so adorable. ;3; It looks like she's whistling and kicking her legs back and forth?? That's so precious?? Peggy I love you...AND MAKARO MY GRUMPY BABY!! He's so closed in on himself aah. ;3; I'll never get over those pants, or that he doesn't like wearing shoes. xD Love my grumpy son.

I'm sorry I always do this with my comments jlfaks. But yes I really love that you never forget all the details in your character's, like the patterns on their clothes and such. And all the poses are always so good.

Peggy and Makaro are my favourites here too, especially Makaro ;3; and yes, she IS whistling and kicking her legs back and forth! xD he isn't actually that grumpy at least not like "go away" grumpy. He just likes to be alone :'D it is kind of grumpy yes, but I feel like it's not like that grumpy kitty from thebadgerfox you know? it's a different grumpy :'D
I did two sketches with Thanatos, this goofy one and a more serious one, a friend who saw them, choose the goofy one so I went with it! x'DD

Ah I see where you're coming from. You're right about the first OCs I've shown were the other 9. But that isn't my original canon. If I'd have to define my original canon for the story it would be Saira + the 7 sins. That means Thanatos, Richard and Darya wouldn't there as well.
Defining my original canon with the characters that are important for the story + important ina certain way for the characters, there'd Saira + the 7 sins, Richard, Darya, Thanatos + a character I'm trying to introduce since July.
This batch is more like a set of all official characters that are known here.
