if you put a polarizing filter on the light source AND on the camera lens you can avoid the light source appearing in the reflection : Google "Cross-Polarized Light photography".

Like for me I have brown eyes and my eye pattern kinda looks like frosting overlapping each other. I also have noticed that blue eyes look kinda like a blue rock you it chiped in the middle

I haven't really payed attention to mine.

But mine are a deep-ish green.
And I think my pattern has a bunch of really small lines going everywhere, not much overlapping.
