Description
Mattepainting used for an t-shirt artwork of austrian metalcore band SOLE METHOD.Brief was to create super-natural fantasy/dark lava landscape with feeling of illustration.
Whole scene was build from scratch with using textures (cgtextures.com),
tablet painting here and there & own 3d modeled rock formations.

Thanx Zola for your comment. I agree, but as I mentioned clients intent was to print it on fabric (tshirt) with 3 colors only (so whole image will be desaturated and back oversaturated with orange-red, yellow and white + bk bg), so I went really beyond, I think

I think this image really captures the bands sound, hot molten rock flowing through the veins of a scorched towards a dark horizon. sweet work
