I like this cos the wolverine/badger haven`t oversized klaws, super much drool and comes right toward u. Thats make it looks so much more realistic than those this-is-the-strongest-and-most-dangerous-monster-on-earth-and-it`s-gonna-bite-ur-head-off things. The light and the shine in the eyes make it look even more realistic, BRAVO! but if u didn`t understood what I ment...dun try-^^-

This caught my eye on the front page, and I wasn't disappointed...
It works because the wolverine-monster isn't overlit, he exists in the picture... but the picture doesn't exist because of him. If that makes any sense 
Although there are some photoshop-effets used for the light, it works here, because you are going for this semi-realistic feel.
