That was a depressing movie; I remember the doll sacrificing herself in a microwave to get them home, and the toaster himself getting crushed in a junkyard.

Very rare for childhood heroes to crush dreams they started.

Yeah, it was one where they were travelling in space or something and they were propelling themselves in a clothes basket powered by a ceiling fan and microwave, and it was the only way they could get back.

She started with the hair, then fed herself as fuel piece by piece.
