A Forest Of Stars - Female
The moon pushed the sun down the spiral-staircase of time
Bright neck broken, twisted beyond repair
So now there's only darkness standing there
Arms outstretched/predatory parasite
Vacant light
From the tunnel of night.
It's colder here since the war, all colours took on a shade of grey
The streams have run slower since you went away
Even the summer is slouching now
Sun not waxing, but waning - walking disappointedly away
Moon with no hope of saving the day

Rainy season beyond sense and reason
Endless sheets of glass
Streets awash with horror
Bullets in the back of summer
Filthy water everywhere
Not saved by incantations

I wore a little less black too (Cynical grin) Β I've done photos since then, I just got kind of sick of this place. Β I think it went to shit in a lot of ways. Β Sill interesting people like yourself around, but I think the disconnect is hard to fix.Β

Well, I can't really remember your uploads exactly, so you really need to go through your storage.
Yeah I know.. many people tell dA is not their place anymore and leave or play dead. I just can see it's not a perfect place and maybe some changes "updates" made this place a bit more miserable.
I don't know where to find another cool place. I think facebook isn't really made for pictures/art, it's full of spystuff, trackers and advertisment. With a ad-blocker you don't have advertisments here...
But I still didn't find another nice alternative place; at most sites it's much harder to connect with people and find the stuff you'd like to see. It's much more superficial there... or it just need its time(years).

Yeah, it's a bit different. Β Maybe it's excessive cynicism on my part because I do agree with you about there being a lack of places that are similar.Β
I hate facebook, although I'm kind of stuck Β there do to keeping in contact with people I met while travelling. And it's not art related anyway. Still fucking hate that place though...
Connecting is hard, that personal sense is either lacking, or too prominent.
