Armant - The Great Tree
The Great Tree sits at the heart of Qehbet and is one of the largest Spanish oaks in the entire region of Isleveil. It's believed that its roots spread throughout the entirety of the jungle and are what connect every living thing to its core. Somerset refers to their home as 'Armant', and makes dens and storerooms around and between the large nooks at the base of the trunk. Armant sits on a raised down that overlooks a sloping valley's treetops with a perfect view of the sunset, which is an important symbol of their culture.
Sira's Oasis
Named after one of the first founders of Somerset, Sira's Oasis is the largest source of fresh water found in Qehbet. All types of animals can be found at this location, and in honor of the Somerset belief that all life is precious, hunting is forbidden on these grounds. Blood shall not soil these lands.
Luxor Springs
Located just southwest of Armant resides a frequented area of the the jungle known as Luxor Springs. Discovered by Azizi, Yewzennia, and Pennisettum, this partially underground hot spring deposit holds it's warm temperatures year round and is believed to have healing properties for both the mind and the body. The terrain is mostly mineral stone craters that collect the pools of clear water as they waterfall down from the ceiling. Steam collects in the caverns, creating a constant shroud around the area helping camouflage it's location from afar.
River Country
River Country is an expanse of flat marshlands that covet no trees or coverage for about three miles. Somersettians must pass through here to reach Sira's Oasis, which resides in the northeastern most point of the territory. River Country is difficult to traverse through as many animals become trapped in unseen holes under the thick mud and marsh. Caution is exercised when traversing here. Safe paths are marked with blue paw prints along the debris while orange paw prints mark known mud pits.
Zipporah Outpost
Zipporah Outpost is the outer most landmark before the jungle ends and the woodlands that lead to Kensington begin. This outpost is monitored the most, as oftentimes this is where abandoned canines wind up after being exiled or cast out. Between Armant and Zipporah Outpost is also where most of the pack hunting is carried out, as this is the least dangerous part of the jungle to travel through.
