Description
Made by me and my mother (mostly my mother). She's made of minky, and her eyes and cutie mark are hand-embroidered. This was a labor of love, so she's not for sale and we don't do commissions. If my mom makes another, then it will almost certainly end up in a charity auction. Also, BEST MOM EVER! /)^3^(\Based on the pattern by , eye vectors used belong to , cutie mark vector used belongs to

My mother helped me make my one too, and from the same pattern, by the look of her!

keep it up!! This looks really great, I'm sure you can do some of the other ponies too! Even if you don't sell them, plushies like this still make the fandom that much better!

Are you sure that's minky? That looks like ultra plush cuddle fabric. I LOVE cuddle fabric!

You have now thoroughly confused me, as the website we bought the fabric from implied that cuddle fabric is a kind of minky. But, then again, the various fabric providers were rather...inconsistent in how they described their products. If it means anything to you, we decided to go with "smooth" minky because we thought the nap on what they called "cuddle" minky was too long.

Hmmm, I'm not sure, I'm also confused, lol. I asked an experienced sewer on here if microplush cuddle fabric was the same as minky and they gave me a huge NO! I'm STILL not completely sure, though.
I do know that minky has a shorter pile than microplush and that microplush is fuzzy on both sides. But yeah, just depends on what type of style you're looking for.

Ah, I see! What they referred to as "cuddle" minky was two-sided, while the "smooth" minky was one-sided. So, by your definitions, we used minky to make Derpy, and the place we bought it from also sold cuddle fabric, but referred to it as another type of minky.

How cool! So the mystery is solved; ultra cuddle fabric is a type of minky. No wonder it's so soft! Thanks for clearing that up!

This pattern results in a rather small pony!

Perhaps, but big or small, she's every bit as huggable as I had hoped!
