My favourite scene from Trudi Canavan's "The High Lord". It's the one where Sonea and Akkarin are on the run in Sachaka and also IMO one of the most romantic moments. :]Had this drawn in the summer but only recently came to me to upload it here.

xD sorry! You drew it really good (propotions/ Hair/clothes nad folds/even motion as well as thei facial expressions)
..... but you made me realise how strange this "falling"ย with a shield looked. I mean, couldnยดt Akkarin grap her from behind, jump, spin them over while doing so and than levitate in an upright position.
I think if the Ichani had seen them levitating horizontal the would not have attacked, they would have laughed.

My favourite scene is probably the fight between akkarin and the Ichani woman in the slums, which Sonea eventually kills. This is because in that part of the book, Sonea and Akkarin are still working in secret, giving it a nice atmosphere in my eyes^^.
