Well i ayed episode one and she is pretty cool and actually helps; sometimes it bugged a bit and she would just stand there but she is pretty good at distracting ennemies and her flashlight blinds ennemies...
Also you can play as her in raid mode and you can customize her; she's pretty cool.

I think she will, I imagine that Moira will be mucho more vulnerable as a lot of people asked (more vulnerable characters and not so many super-heroes, super-soldiers, super-agents), so surely Moria will suffer on this adventure a bit, but I think she will find her determination to fight and will addapt, succeding where Ashley failed.

The comms officer. And practice dodging it really helps, but do it in raid mode so you won't lose anything in game.

What are you playing on? I played on the 360 and raid was automatically playable but I'm not sure about the ds. If your fight comms officer (the one that says mayday) jump through the window just outside the room he's in, he can't jump through and will be forced to go through the door. While he does that you can get off some shots at him but be careful of the oozes that show up too.
