Although, as far as I've read, psychopaths sometimes have qualities that are actually wanted in some military positions. Of course, the pyromania and arson aren't as welcome :'D

Cool fact - Tracer Ammunition are bullets or cannon caliber projectiles that are built with a small pyrotechnic charge in their base. Ignited by the burning powder, the pyrotechnic composition burns very brightly, making the projectile trajectory visible to the naked eye during daylight, and very bright during nighttime firing. So, they're literally look like fiery bullets out of hell

The quote, by the way, was said by Gabriel in the Neosansus Military!AU, where he's a veteran sniper who has become somewhat indifferent to killing others after being hardened over the years. If Thomas would assume such a role, however, I think the indifference would set in pretty fast
