A running joke in my Art class, about how Piet Modrian got famous for compsing squared-clean-painted-shapes on a canvas, probably for being the first one to do something like that

so, are we in a disadvantage in the "famous artists" department because other artists had a long time to think up new things while we weren't even in the making?
and one question always follows when I think about it: could there be a time when we won't have any more new and revolutionary ways to create art that'll make us instantly famous and recognized?

Well...I'd like to believe that this will never happen
