I really wanted to draw Sammy because I love him to death. x3
I was listening to Florence + the Machine’s “Breath of Life” the other day, and thought of him. I could picture him saying things like this. I headcanon that he composes new songs almost daily because he has nothing else to do besides angst and occasionally sacrifice people that wander into the studio (but realistically, who else would? Maybe some teens… or Mae lol. Sudden NitW + BatIM crossover idea, someone get on that).
I just want him to be happy tbh? T~T

And yes, that is the iconic pose from Fury Road, which I have never seen.

This is a very well put together drawing. It's so nice seeing some fan art for my favorite BATIM character.
The coloring is very detailed and the shading is in all of the right places. I love the way you drew the ink, it looks like it's apart of his skin, which just adds to the pain he must be feeling. His body is made up of a wet and sticky substance that always melts onto the ground. I wish it would've been portrayed like that in the actual game, instead of just looking like glue dried glue.
I think the pose is also very good. I saw you speed paint and read the description, so I know you used a reference, which is an extra point. I think it would look a bit more dramatic if his hands weren't on his legs, and were instead on the ground. But, it's all in the eye of the beholder.
I also think the mouth looks a little too cartoon-ey with the agonizing vibe the piece gives off.
This is one of the better fan art pieces for Sammy, in my opinion. It's very well drawn, and shows the agony he must have been going through.
