Claustrophobia: The fear of small spaces.

''Did you have to pick a room, on the top floor?''

''Oh come on babe, you know I like to overlook everyone'' Reiner spoke with a chuckle. ''You do that normally, Kyojin''

You and Reiner continued your little dispute, it was petty really - Reiner was getting ready to go into his first year of University as all the other couple were arguing over the fact that they were going to be separated for weeks at a time but no, you were more upset over the fact that his apartment was on the highest floor of the building.

''What is wrong with having it on the top floor?''

''Nothing, it's just...''

''It's just?''

''The elevator''

It was at that moment that it all made sense for Reiner, he facepalmed he had totally forgot. ''Ah shit, I'm sorry (first) I forgot''

''N-no! It's fine''

The reason why the elevator was the problem? Well, you were claustrophobic and being confined in a small metal box contraption was exactly your cup of tea. You had tried to get over this fear of yours but it was near impossible, the last time you opted for climbing up fithteen flights of stairs just to avoid getting to the elevator.

''It's only ten seconds of a job it will be over a soon as it starts''

''Did you time it?''

Reiner rolled his eyes at you before taking the liberty to pick you up and hoist you over his shoulder. ''Hey! Kyojin put me down!'' Reiner let out a throaty chuckle and you pounded your fists into his back but because he was 99% muscle it didn't affect him in the slightest. You stopped struggling as it was pointless one he had hold of you he wasn't letting go.

You relaxed and melted into his arms he sifted your position and held you bridle style, he flashed you his signature cheeky grin that made you weak. You remembered when you first got with Reiner your friends told you to keep away from him as he would just break your heart according to them you were nothing but another 'quest' for him a simple fuck and chuck.

He was a typical meat head in high school, he was a jock and you - well, there was nothing special about you in your eyes, many people categorized you as a nerd but you didn't pay them any attention. So when Reiner came to you one day asking if he could take you out if it wasn't for the slight pink dusting of his cheek that you found adorable it would of been a no.

Thank god you didn't listen you your friends - Reiner was nothing more than a gentle giant and over sized teddy bear in your opinion. His six foot tall statured loomed way over yours this is how he earned the nickname Kyojin. Under all that muscle was a big hearted guy who would go to the end of the world for you if you requested.

You both stood outside the elevator, your heart rate increased ten fold when he pressed the button to bring it down. Reiner gave your hand a reassuring squeeze when he heard your breathing slowly becoming erratic. The elevator dinged, Reiner walked in first and you very hesitantly looked inside - this was hell on earth for you, the tight confinement of the elevator made you want to bolt and run for the hills.

''This is the worst moment of my life''

The silver box of doom, that was what you named it. You had heard plenty of stories of them stopping midway through a journey, just thinking of the possibility made your blood run cold and bring on a cold sweat. Just, just the thought of being inside of the metal contraption was enough to make you feel like you were being suffocated.

Suffocating, that was the feeling that you got from tight spaces. It felt like a hand found it's way onto your throat and was squeezing so very tight, it would cause your lungs to scream for oxygen as they burned at an unbearable temperature. Reiner watched you as you looked around it was this that sparked an idea. ''(First) close your eyes''

''W-what?''

''Trust me, just close your eyes''

You closed your eyes tightly a small whimper left your lips when you felt Reiner tug you inside, he quickly soothed you his hands rubbing up and down your arms.

''Now, imagine this. A wide open space, a wide open field with a beautiful array of flowers of all shapes and sizes'' He watched as you smiled, he leant over and pressed the button for the top floor, the elevator came to life another whimper left your lips when it began to move. ''To the left of you there is a forest with large trees the leaves green. The sun shines bright in the perfect pristine blue sky not a cloud in sight''

You relaxed and listen closely to Reiners voice taking everything in a large smile was present on your face, it was amazing you felt so open, so free not as if you were confined at all. Soon Reiner stopped talking and you felt yourself being tugged, opening your eyes you were no longer inside the elevator.

''See, not so bad?''

You smiled at him and cupped his face bringing his face closer to you, driving your lips onto his in a passionate kiss. ''Will you do that everytime?'' you asked cocking your head to the side innocently a slight blush dusted Reiners cheeks. ''Depends, will I get a kiss every time I do it?''

''Avoiding a panic attack in exchange for a kiss? Sounds good to me''
