Description Since this was up to 20 frames, I had to use 's comic layouter in order to maintain the quality.

And yet there are still obvious mistakes...

Artists across the world may begin with varying levels of talent and understanding, but nobody is born being able to create masterpieces on the spot. Some of us learn how to get better by studying techniques in books. Others learn by watching other people do the same thing. But there are also people who learn just by absorbing their surroundings. And then a handful learn by taking art classes.

The point is, every artist that ever lived did not start out perfect. Everyone takes it in differently, and at a different pace. You could have an artistic epiphany tomorrow that would change your art style forever. Or maybe you won't learn it until a few months, maybe a year or two.

But improvement is like a piggy bank, it starts out with just a few bucks. But in time, with a little bit of investment within that time, and eventually that piggy will get full. That's when you smash it and review how you've done, then find out you've saved up to $300.

There's always some people who too push themselves by keep on comparing with the others.

Well, what do I have to say? BE YOURSELF. Everyone's have different style of art, some may like it while some may not. Seek comments and critiques from them, it's the best way to improve yourself. XD

Well, this is quite true to all of artists in the world. Even I may be one of the best artists in the Station Wagon, I'm still suck at drawing complicated things like backgrounds and figures (especially hands).
So, to all of the artists of Station Wagon (including myself), the message is that no matter if your current drawing is still suck, there are always room for improvement. While the improvements do not achieved in overnight, it will slowly show itself when you often draws.
To achieve this, you must carry a sketch book everywhere with you, so you can make some doodles when you had some free time.
The important tip is that remove all of your doubts from your mind. Don't worry, just draw on.
Also, my writing style may be dodgy and confusing for all of you. Sorry about that and this long post. Here's a Toyosatomimi no Miko plushie.

Of course, there's always those people who never get any better and just stay bad.

Sometimes, everything that you do sucks, no matter how hard you try. Sure, you improve but it can't really be called improvement. You stay at the bottom tier and never move up. Can it really be called improvement if you never reach any milestones? If you never rise above anyone who's infinitely better than you?

I'll only improve if I get better than everyone I look up to, but I never will. They're so much better than I'll ever be, and they've already accomplished more than I ever will in my entire life. I suck. I suck so much. My art style is disgusting and generic, and my writing is barely readable and childish in terms of both plot structure and writing style. I suck and I will never truly improve, ever.

Sure, I've gotten better since I first started, but I'm still scum. I'm still in the bottom tier of acceptable artists. I'll probably never leave that bottom tier for as long as I continue to draw.

Those people never seem to improve for one of three reasons:
1. They are too stubborn or proud to ever admit they've never been perfect.
2. They have no hopes or goals around their own talents (and therefore see no reason to seek improvement).
3. They simply don't let themselves, because they're pessimists.

While the saying is true, "no matter how big you are, there's always someone bigger", the opposite is also true. As DA will show, there are still a ton of people using bases or making recolors because they don't feel like they're ready to do anything themselves. That doesn't mean they suck, it just means they're inexperienced.

And the concept of 'false improvement', as I'll refer to it, isn't real. Improvement IS improvement, no matter how you slice or dice it. Sometimes the drive to achieve it might end up cutting the pieces so small that you can't even tell it's there.

I will say, Eevee, you are a great artist, whether you believe it or not. I'm sure plenty of people have told you the same, right? Let me just say, in my 19 years of learning how to make art, there are still things that I cannot draw for the life of me. Primarily, vehicles and backgrounds.
Personally, I think you are actually better at backgrounds than I am. Your most recent pictures of Murasa and Yuyuko have AMAZING color tone. That kind of understanding with color is a clear sign of talent. Plus, I don't know where you're looking, but I've never seen any other artist draw characters the way you do. Your style is actually quite refreshing.

I haven't seen any of your writing, but as far as how you talk here and on Raidcall, you're perfectly understandable.

And on the account of other people accomplishing more than you have? Life isn't a contest. Nothing is set in stone unless you carve it yourself. There are no 'tiers', and nobody is trying to outdo you. So just live life at your own pace.
And also, try not to compare your ENTIRE life based on anyone's achievements, because you're still pretty young. The halfway mark isn't even in view yet, not even for me.

So yeah. Have my text wall of optimism. 8D That's all I have to say 'bout that.

This truth should be self-evident, but sometimes it needs to be said.

We hold these truths to be self evident, that all artists improve over time.
