I haven't had much time to properly paint anything during past month (one more week until my Christmas holiday begins) but I've tried to doodle something Skyrim related whenever I've found a spare moment. This is some painting practice I finished recently - I feel like much could still be improved but I think I'll leave the tweaking for another time. At the moment I'm just happy my leafy trees look a bit better than they did six months ago, and that I managed to produce a horse that actually looks like a horse...
Anyway, here's my Imperial thief Bron riding by Riften with what is supposed to be Frost - the horse he couldn't help stealing from Maven Black-Briar (which surprises no one, I'm sure). Gosh, I simply love the landscapes of the Rift in the game - sun shining through those yellow leaves makes my day every time.

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself this is so much better than anything I will ever draw/paint especially frost (btw I could tell it was him the whole time because is there anyway a thief would pay to buy a horse when there is a perfectly good one up for grabs to anyone with the stomach to steel from maven black-briar? I think not!) but yeah whenever I try to draw a horse it always looks like a sad little cartoon thing.

The light and the colours of this gives it a kind of 'old masters' feel. I really love it and the horse looks very much like a horse.
