Thank you very much, to be honest I'm not sure it's from a make up model that's all I know don't know her name.

Nice! I love the lashes. And you've done them properly as they are on the eye, most people just draw them in an unnatural straight line.

this is very beautiful! You should scan it, or balance white and black in photoshop, to let the sparkles in the eyes come out as they probably do int he original!

Yes I'm planning to get a new scanner. Often I use a program like photoshop a bit to get the right contrast and lighting but it doesn't come even close to the original.. Thanks tho

I just made this account and my scanner hasn't been hooked up yet but I have a whole portfolio to put on here. Tattoos mostly... since that is was i'm training for.

Quite cool drawing, I would suggest to try to avoid those very hard dark lines without transition, and perhaps softening the edges of the whole eyebrow shape, I like the softer quality of the iris, and that you havent made those "dagger" eyelashes that so many does. *thumbs up*

IsschaI In reply to Trichardsen [2012-10-15 23:41:22 +0000 UTC]

Do you mean blending the dark lines? Yes I'm not to happy about the eyebrow myself I'm not good at drawing what i don't see.. Thanks for the tips tho

Trichardsen In reply to IsschaI [2012-10-16 00:09:22 +0000 UTC]

No, although you can, it does look better if you shade and feather out from the dark lines, blending has a tendency when done directly from a dark line to create darker lines inbetween the blended strokes, so it is better to shade out with a pencil.
You basicly release your pencil at the edges of the eyebrow when drawing the hairs, this gives a much softer feel to it.
