Love the way your doing his horns.
At first I couldn't decide which I liked better but I agree with songdog, the freehand I think fits the style of the comic better.

Thanks!! I try to make them as antler-y as I can...sometimes they don't want to co-operate lol...
Ah, yes! I think I'll stick with the freehand bubbles from now on...

I wonder what souls taste like. I mean, does the flavor very? Are some sweet, some sour? Would some souls taste better than others, and is there any way to flavor a soul?
I've always preferred freehand personally. I think the style of the comic matters, but for most (yours included), I'd throw my wager in with free hand. The neat ones look too formal, too generic.

Haahaha yes!
They had some rare souls...maybe they'd taste...rare? LOL IDEK....yummy, if you're a demon....maybe an old soul would be very seasoned...
Ahh ok thank you! I was really wondering - because i find when i do neat ones, some movement gets lost in the image or it looks plain stiff...

Yeah, stiff is a good word for it. It works with stiffer, more 'generic' looking comics, but stuff with a loose and more fluid look is better with freehand.
