Description
UPDATED:This is an alternate story, where Scar's plan goes wrong and he gets caught in the stampede. Simba climbs the gorge wall and runs to find his father. Mufasa arrives just in time to save Scar, who is clinging to the side of the cliff.

This is so... Mufasa. Even in the movie, you can see that despite his brother's flaws, he truely loves him. Even after Scar had attempted to murder him and his son, this is exactly what he'd do should he have found Scar hanging off that cliff.

really great! one thing you might have done so people wouldn't have gotten confused was to have one of Scar's toes (fingers?) in sight. Just a small thought should you do something like this again. great persepective and expression!

Maybe, but that story would have ended all happy and it wouldn't be as interesting. It would just be one boring care free world. You need to have some drama in order to make an interesting movie

That'd be the easy literary road out, the Javert fall, more emotionally impactful but given his pleading for life at the end I suspect his rat-like character would say go ahead and live, and letting that scenario play out would make for a much more original work...
