Okay, this'll be the last "anti-Twilight" piece for awhile (I actually only made this one for a friend ^_^;; )Anywhos, for those of you who couldn't figure it out: The guy in the black shirt is Angel from Buffy/Angel, and the two people at the bottom are Lestat and Anne Rice.
(I was originally incensed to think that SM totally copied Twilight from Angel, but the more I thought about it and researched, I realized both series scammed off of Anne Rice.)
(LOL I drew this in like, 10 minutes - so I'll probably scrap it later XD)

Though I don't HATE Twilight, I will admit this:
Edward is a complete whimp and doesn't deserve all the attention he gets. Angel is much cooler.
But Lestat is the coolest vampire of all time! He can go outside during the day and doesn't have to sparkle! All other vampires are basically nothing when compared to him! Well, that's my opinion anyways.
This is great, I really did enjoy it!

Edward = Armand's body (w/ short hair and covered in glitter), Louis theory on vampire nature, and a cheap dollar store version of lestat's bratty witicism.

I hated Angel. Mind you, Buffy's taste in men (in the series) was horrendous. It's like she had this sick fetish for dating guys that are all wrong for her. And I found Spike even worse because he was EVIL above all else and an immature little brat.

LOL, I didn't think Angel's taste in women was any better. He went from ass-kicking Buffy to the selfish/annoying Cordelia and would not stop fawning over her for the entire Angel series (and it drove me NUTS!!!). So yeah...I definitely didn't watch that show for the romance ^_^;; (but hey, despite it utter corny-ness it was my guilty pleasure anyway)

That is hillarious. The only sad part is that Anne Rice now hates her own works and is writing christian novels. (nothing wrong with christian novels. of course)

She has indeed said that she has moved on, and will not write anymore vampire/witch novels, but she does not hate her old works. It's a common misconception about her.

She actually hates her own stuff??? That seems a little harsh (I mean, I can understand her being turned off by the subject matter she was writing on versus what she's writing about now - but "hate" is a strong word to use against your own work)

lol didnt get it at first (i thought edward was zuko cuz of the hair and eyes) and couldnt tell who the other guy was. but lol, poor ann rice getting scammed off her works. i hate vampire based storylines, nothing is original. whoever created the idea of vampires in the first place shouldve put more details in them so it wouldnt be this boring.

Haha, I know. If I were Anne Rice, I'd be totally pissed right now (I guess I'd be flattered too, but just with a hint of murderous intent XD). And you're right; I think all self-respecting authors should just steer clear of the whole vampire-genre in general (nothing good can come of it, lol)
