The piece looks like it was done with water colors. The fish in the background almost look cross stitched. It's an interesting contrast.

Who doens't love Fish Eye? He looks more masculine in this image than I've ever seen him.

This piece is really cute, I love the way you've used pencils here for a sort of pastel effect. The Lighting is consistent, and the pose, lines, everything looks really good.

I can't really tell because of the washed out colours (used to your advantage, obviously), but the anatomy on his left hand looks a bit iffy. I can't really offer any advice there because most everyone has trouble with hands (I still can't draw them XP), and there's no real trick to them except practice. This is an older piece too, and if I recall right, you've improved on hands anyway Think of this as retro critique.

Just nitpicking on this really, because it really is a well done piece. In the centre there he looks good as a pin up, but perhaps making a larger background and then using the rule of thirds might have also been a good choice for this piece. It could have worked as a wallpaper (I'd use it ) too. The neck is also a little thick for anime-type anatomy but... Yeah that's like the biggest nit pick ever because it doesn't really affect the piece at all and there's no improvement to offer except 'keep in mind that anime anatomy tends to have people with ridiculously skinny necks to accommodate their ridiculously big eyes and heads'.

But yeah, this is an awesome piece.

Fisheye is very cool, one of my favorite characters too. But there is one episode in the anime when he take off his clothes you can see he is a guy.
