A semi-screenshot redraw of Nava watching Aleu lead the pack to their new home. I know he's very noble about it, but deep down we all know that him remaining behind alone (or worse yet, with Niju) is pretty much a death sentence to him since the prey is gone, he's too weak to hunt and there's Niju out there who is no doubt out for revenge after suffering all that humiliation.

Because of these aspects I always headcanoned that Nava's final parts in the movie were just hinting at him dying later off-screen. He might say "me and Niju are still a pack, I will look for him" but that's hardly any comfort based on what we as the audience know about their situation. Niju will not forgive Nava. There is no prey. Nava cannot hunt what little there is left. This wolf is a dead wolf.
