Description
I've been toying in my head with the idea of "what if we domesticated thylacines instead of (insert X animal here)?". It got me thinking and I finally decided to do this: a color chart of the only known color of thylacines, mixed in with some different colors/mutations and marking types! Most of the white markings are based off dogs.I also felt the need to include some more cat-like markings for forever reason, hence the pointed and tabby variants. This particular tabby is based mostly off a mackerel tabby! My interpretation of a leucistic thylacine is just speculation, they might very well look totally different.
They'd possibly have other things going on, too! If we take a look at the Russian fox domestication project, we see that they started to develop floppy ears and shorter, curly tails as well. So that could hypothetically happen in this thylacine-domestication AU as well? I just wanted to focus on the colors and markings here, though.

Very interesting! I wonder what thylacines would be domesticated for tho? (Like how dogs were domesticated to hunt/protect/be human companions, cats domesticated themselves because humans kept them to hunt feild mice, that sorta thing)
