Description I found the pickpocketing missions in the first Assassin's Creed game more amusing than I probably should have. The target obviously knew you took it and they basically look right at you, and they just walk off after. "Oh, that letter/map/guard roster wasn't important."

Silly little comic I drew a couple months ago and remembered yesterday, so I decided to upload it. Lazy coloring/shading and not very funny, but I decided to share it

OMG it's sooooo true sometimes i wonder "How can this guy (the one who is "pickpocketed") be so stupid?"

I have no idea what the guys at Ubisoft were going for making the target react like that Thankfully, it's amusing.

Yah =w=~ but beside the target, the gruads in AC1 are quite dumb too one time, i tried to get through the gruads by blending. and when i got near to them, one of them pussed me away and said :"Go away, MONK!" i don't think monks brought a sword, some throwing knives, a knife and a hidden blade with them back in the day

Whenever the guards pushed me away, they always called me a "peasant." Altair was always suitably offended, but withheld his anger if only so as not to put the entire city on Assassin Watch.

The guards make up for their stupidity by their constant awareness. You so much as SNEEZE and those guards can tell you're an assassin. Unless you're sitting down, then you're just a scholarly-looking fellow who just happens to have a sword, a knife, a hidden blade, and up to 15 throwing knives about his person. Totally inconspicuous.

SERIOUSLY! I love how the guy never suspects the ONE person standing there when he realizes it's gone. It would be one thing if you were blending as you walked away, but still...

I think it's funny that they notice at all As soon as you take it, the target immediately notice that it's gone, and then they do nothing about it. In later games, they either notice and beat you up, or they don't notice. I feel AC1 Pickpocket Targets are a perfect mix of the two

Yeah, I showed it to Jacob a couple days ago when he was watching me replay a pickpocket mission and I remembered it. He suggested I upload it. I still love it

I still find it hilarious and I don't know why. I really shouldn't find their reactions so consistently amusing.
