deviantART - Simple Text Formatting with Easy Selection of EmoticonsInfo:
This script provide an easy interface for formatting comments, journals, signature etc in deviantART. You can format your text with Bold, Italic, Underline, Sub and Sup. Along with that, it has a easy "one-click" drop-down selection from all 500 emoticons present in deviantART.
Installation:
- Get a Firefox browser (if you don't have it)
- Install Greasemonkey in your Firefox.
- Click here to install the script.

Note:
- If you're on low bandwidth internet, you must wait for few seconds so all the Emoticons is being loaded and then this toolbar will be inserted into comment section.
- Currently, It is not working in "reply" section. If anyone have a fix for that, do let me know, I'll update the script.

It works... I know what the problem is now.
In your "comments" the part that says "click here" to install script... doesn't work. I had to go to your actual website to install the script properly.
In Greasemonkey your script wasn't displaying dA's web site with the asterisks when I clicked on the link but after installing it from your website it's showing up properly now.

Believe me!, I was just going to say you that go to site where it is originally hosted i.e. http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/55388 and install it from there.
That error is occurring 'cause deviantART block all the outside links. Thanks for pointing it out. I will edit it accordingly.

I'm getting a message that it might be a "malicious script". Should I trust it?

You'll get this "malicious script" message on EVERY Greasemonkey script you install, it is just a kind of "warning" by Greasemonkey 'cause some script are bad. But TRUST ME, this script is 100% safe. Script is being hosted at userscript.org , not on any private host. So, go ahead, install it!.
Will be waiting for your reviews and suggestions on it.

no not true, I only got it on yours. I've installed 3 different scripts today.. yours was the only one I got the message on.
It's installed but I thinks another script is overriding yours because it won't work.

"Malicious scripts can violate your privacy and act on your behalf without your knowledge." -- If you got this message, then I'm DAMN sure it comes on every new Greasemonkey script installation.
Well, that depends on which type of script you had installed before and what it claim to do. Sometimes there maybe a collusion between them which made them non-functional. Better you turn other OFF(unchecked) to run this properly.

It asked me if I trusted the site or whatever from which the script was created. No worries.
Not on slow internet... I installed some other thing.. ummmm deviantplus V.3 which is similar to yours but doesn't have the smilie drop down. I much prefer the drop down menu. So I'll probably deactivate this one and try yours.

Ummm... you have lots of them running on. 
But I should prefer you to use single script for one site, else it probably freezing your browser frequently.
