deviantART - Simple Text Formatting with Easy Selection of EmoticonsInfo:
This script provide an easy interface for formatting comments, journals, signature etc in deviantART. You can format your text with Bold, Italic, Underline, Sub and Sup. Along with that, it has a easy "one-click" drop-down selection from all 500 emoticons present in deviantART.
Installation:
- Get a Firefox browser (if you don't have it)
- Install Greasemonkey in your Firefox.
- Click here to install the script.

Note:
- If you're on low bandwidth internet, you must wait for few seconds so all the Emoticons is being loaded and then this toolbar will be inserted into comment section.
- Currently, It is not working in "reply" section. If anyone have a fix for that, do let me know, I'll update the script.

thanks for this awesome script
I changed it a little bit for my own ... threw out almost every emoticon (can't find my faves otherwise) and added buttons for small and links
sadly now it's a little bit slow to open :/

Actually for chrome you have to install it manually, because chrome doesn't have the greasemonkey add-on i dont think.

Ah.. if I try to use them both, it places the bar you designed under the one `Zikes made, but only yours does and his one doesn't work anymore.

Running multiples scripts for same website mostly doesn't always works at that well. Not just in this case.

I use `Zikes ' deviantPLUS for this, it has some extra features but it doesn't have the emoticons thing (or it does but it doesn't work...) so I will see if I can use them both side by side!

I like the fact it also works on notes and journals ~ it's very cool and I wish I knew how to write "scripts" ~ but it's probably beyond my capabilities, I think

There are so many resources on Internet to learn from, go for them. Little bit of HTML, CSS and Javascript is enough to write your own script.
Just gone through your Gallery, it was so great. You're good at that.
