Hey I just stumbled across your gallery, and I wanted to comment, so I just picked one of your newest deviations...but this comment really applies to all your pen work: it's beautiful! The textures and the patterns are very effective, and I think it takes real talent to construct such wonderful compositions out of pure black and white (ok, this one's got color, but you know what I mean). The style reminds me somewhat of Aubrey Beardsley...are you familiar with him? Or Virgil Finlay. I mean that as a compliment...! Anyway, I'm adding you to my watchlist.
If you want to experiment with digital, you could always try GIMP, which is a free, open-source knock-off of Photoshop. It's got pretty amazing capabilities, and there's a great online community out there for help and tutorials. It's what I use for all my digital work.

you know these pictures become maps of our conversations basically. for some reason the drawing and the talking meld together and when I look at different parts of what I draw I can remember what we were saying and what I was feeling when I drew it. cool story bro
