Description
TakingThis time I sharpened the image a little in Perfect Effects 8, similar to what I did in Photoshop for the original. Added to that I also used a HDRI pass in Perfects Effects 8 and reduced the layer opacity. Then using the Vue Alpha I mixed the Sharpened and HDRI passes keeping the Sky from the HDRI pass and leaving the Sharpened Ground etc pass.

Oooh, nice! That is a lot of stuff to handle. It all looks great! I love the lens flare in the corner.

LOL That he does. We often bounce ideas and thoughts off each other, each pushing the other. I have never had a true friend that I have never met...I find that very profound.
Thanks for vote of confidence Limnery it is much appreciated.

The sun is a great touch indeed. I'm not too fond of the humanoid figure addition, but that's just me - I'm an engineer after all, so unmanned modules, think AI and stuff, are something I love way too much

LOL what you like. To tell the truth neither am I but in this case with the door open I felt it needed it. I wish I had Rover Model as I love unmanned missions myself. Can't wait to see if they land on that Asteroid successfully .

Oh, right, I never noticed the door. It makes sense, then.
Speaking of manned missions, there's this neat model of the moon buggy, but it's for 3DS Max.
For unmanned ones, there's a Curiosity model for sale at Rendo: www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/ma…

Never noticed the door...call yourself an engineer... Sorry couldn't resist.
Man that is one cool model.
The Rendo one isn't too bad, thanks for the link, shame I don't buy from them. The surfaces are a bit basic but that is easily fixed.

In all honesty, you don't know exactly what kind of engineer I am I specialise in stuff that can't have doors!
Oh, sorry, I didn't know you had issues with Rendo.

LOL No I don't know what type of engineer you are but I never let the facts get in the way of a humorous poke as someone.
"I specialise in stuff that can't have doors!" what like toasters.
Hey don't be sorry I don't have issues with Rendo I just don't buy things for other places anymore.

I get it, it's just that doors aren't really what I notice much (IRL included... there's too many glass ones here).
If you're really curious, I can tell you, but in private.
