Description After the attack on New York, the GDF and MONARCH were more than a little rattled. None of the other kaiju were available to defend, since they were preoccupied in defending other parts of the world. One case in point was Zilla Jr., whose adoptive father claimed was stopping a quarrel between two new monsters named Kraa and Zarkoor. This new Elder Godzilla made itself comfortable near the Japanese trench, seeming to prefer seclusion over company. This was proven to be more useful than previously thought, for another "Godzilla" rose from the the ocean not even two years later. This Godzilla was at first thought to be an offspring of the Elder, but that idea was put to rest as a look at it's genetic make up had it connected to current fish of today. Constant nuclear pollution had mutated the microscopic fish into a creature almost the size of Baragon.

After it's rampage, and rapid evolution, the new Godzilla retreated back to the depths. However, it returned the next day as a monster far taller than the Elder, who was found to be nearly as tall as Destroyah. It tore through most of Japan, until some of the UN's top scientists began working on a blood coagulant. Turns out, this Godzilla required a venting system, lest it's body be frozen. Once a plan was set into motion, disaster struck. Two new kaiju, nicknamed Parasite and Quartz, attacked the remaining containers holding the coagulant. The new Godzilla managed to defeat them, though some unexpected means. The night sky turned into a stream of red and purple as beams of pure radiation melted buildings and sliced through the newcomers. Help, however, came once again in the form of the Elder. The flood produced by the Elder doused most of the fires created and grabbed the new Godzilla's attention.

The coagulant, along with the Elder's fighting strategy proved to be too much for the new Godzilla. It's skin solidified, then crumbled as the Elder tore it apart. However, it seemed that only one monster was slain that day. Spores from the Parasite and crystals from Quartz were collected along with the pieces of the new Godzilla. The Parasite and Quartz were taken to the revitalized Birth Islands, where they later found was inhabited by Biollante. The three have been found to be peaceful, taking up their own third of the island.

The arrival of the Elder and the new "Shin" Godzilla eventually spawned what was called the GET (Godzilla Evolution Theory). The theory stated the long ago, there were more creatures like the Elder. They lived long before the dinosaurs, where radiation was more plentiful. However, after the asteroid collided with the Earth the first time, most of the monsters that lived along with the Elder's species disappeared. They either swam deeper towards the Earth or burrowed underground. Those that didn't escape seemed to "de-evolve", loosing their shorter spines, harder epidermis or both. Some even shrank, becoming the size of minnows. After Humanity split the atom, new monster arose. One of the "de-evolved" godzillasaurs that had been around for a long time was awoken when Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This was nicknamed Gojira, who would have been Junior's grandfather. The minnow sized fish, still alive and well, slowly drained energy from the first Gojira. Some were even hypothesized to be able to mutate other things such as plants. The rest is history.

Though it makes one wonder, what else could the lineage of Godzilla create?

That's one way to get Shin Godzilla into the Bridge. One of the better ones I've read at least.
