Fun It Fact #43:
The town the book takes place in has a violent past.
One of my favorite parts of the book is when the whole town gets together with a whole lotta guns and murders the fuck outta some gangsters in broad daylight.
Parents, teachers, cops, store owners, friendly old women who pass out cookies, everyone and their father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate attended the first annual "Let's kill the Shit Outta Some Outlaws" festival.
No one gave a fuuuuuuck.
One of the characters even saw Pennywise taking part in It's full clown get up.
They assumed somebody was just doing it for a laugh.
