My first tablet arrived today! This is just a practice sketch from playing around with it. Not bad, right??
I'm so excited to see all of the possibilities of computer drawing now that I have my Wacom!!The only shitty thing is that I'm really not used to how "light" my drawings appear through use of the Wacom. It's like ... Normally, I draw really dark when I use an actual pencil. But with this thing, it comes out super faint?
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. :/

Not bad at all!
In regards to the "light" lines - if you're using Photoshop, you can set how you want the pen to react. If you choose Pen Pressure then it means you have to push slightly harder to get a darker line. Also check whether you have color dynamics set in the brush palette.
