Description
It's funny, really. Mr. Enter hates the fact that post-movie (I refuse to call it "Modern") Spongebob flanderizes the characters, yet, after Ren Seeks Help, he's become a flanderization himself, due to his huge amounts of rage. So, yes, I've seen his 100th Animated Atrocity, and, although I agree with most of the things he said, I just couldn't get how CONCEITED he's become. Like, for example, he explains that it isn't funny that Drawn Together uses raunch for humor, even though you can still be funny while being disturbing or extremely sexual (look at South Park, its KNOWN for it). He also talks about, in another review about 12 Oz Mouse, that the animation is "pure shit" and isn't a show that should be on the air. Yeah, its a thing called "refined tastes". Shows like Fanboy & Chum Chum, Breadwinners, The Brothers Grunt and 12 Oz Mouse are like this. Most people my not like it, but there are some that love it. Yet he says it as if EVERYONE has to agree with him... Which is the exact OPPOSITE of what you're supposed to do.
Let's just say that he's kinda getting on my nerves, and I'm gonna stay away from him for a while. The rage he now expresses is gonna bring his downfall, and I don't want to be there when the reviewer hits the fan.
Rant over.

Here's my overall view of him.
Does he take things a bit too far? Yeah, really. But at least he knows he messes up WHEN he does and TRIES to get better, which he does. If you've seen his Admirable Animation on Meet the Robinsons, he said that while the time travel logic was off the walls and the story was the weakest part of it, the humor and overall message more than made up for it. And he was pretty humorous himself in pointing out some jokes that have admittedly gotten more funny today than back then. Like Future Goob's brony diary and the Frozen joke.

Dear God, I hate MrEnter. Most of the time, he sounds like a four-year-old who didn't get what they wanted for Christmas. The fact that this guy doesn't even tolerate opposing opinions makes him hard to listen to, especially because he's got an annoying fanbase made up of white knights. He's getting too angry, too whiny, and not even enjoyable. I've also heard that he treats his fans like shit. I also noticed that he's been getting repetitive - and a lot more negative. All he does nowadays are those fucking Animated Atrocities.
I'm a big fan of Drawn Together, and I've noticed that a sizable portion of the Drawn Together hatedom on the Internet are MrEnter fans. I feel like MrEnter has a problem with adult animation in general. While I do think that there should be more adult animation that isn't raunchy, I think it's very immature for a guy my age to be so offended by it. And to be quite honest, his flanderization is even worse than the Nostalgia Critic. He doesn't even seem to have a sense of humor. Plus I think he does a huge disservice to the autistic community by making us look like a bunch of stuck-up, whiny, annoying manchildren whose lives revolve around cartoons.
I think this Internet fame has really gotten to his head. Maybe he should just turn off the computer and go outside.

I don't think Rick and Morty is as crude as, say, Family Guy or Drawn Together. (I'm not defending Enter - I'd never do that.) But you're right - he is a hypocrite.
The Nostalgia Critic really is pathetic nowadays. I think people have good reasons to no longer like him. He's not even nostalgic anymore, as he's been picking movies from the 2010s that don't qualify as nostalgic (sometimes even reviewing movies that are still in theaters). Plus he's relying on his token black guy and token girl for all his humor, and he's pandering to the pretentious Internet liberal crowd.
I think at this point, people are starting to get sick of Internet critics.

yeah, I heard that the nostalgia critic actually tried to guilt trip people into not only feeling bad for him for having a nerdy childhood (he's the one who fucked up his own life, so that's his own damn fault), but also into not hating his god-awful cutaway gags anymore.
his lorax review just pissed me off to the point where I stop watching the movie completely. just 'cause it's a different adaptation to the damn book it's automatically terrible.
plus, he even went far as saying that care bears in wonderland, one the worst movies he's reviewed, was better then Tim Burton's Alice. it's FUCKING BULLSHIT!
don't even get me started on his man of steel review, which I ragequit within five minutes because of the sheer stupidity.
also, the nostalgia critic needs to shut the fuck up about his hatred towards Michael bay. you and I both agree that he's a bad director (I'm more then happy to admit that), but he just keeps shoving it down our throats like it's nobody's business. and it sure as hell didn't that the nostalgia critic said he's gonna review age of extinction (I wish I was making this up) the THIRD time. and yes, you read this right. the third time.
he also had a problem with people who liked loki. of course, he's too blind to see that there are other worse fandoms and his only concern was loki. he hates people who like loki because only HE can like loki. what a mouthful.
did I mention he's a frozen fanboy? CONSTANLY defending frozen by saying that other Disney films are pieces of shit except that one?
And, of course, he has little to no respect for the dead. like making suicide jokes in his editorial called "did tom and jerry kill themselves", RIGHT sometime before or after when robin Williams committed suicide. in his review of labyrinth, he made fun of david bowie sometime before this "review" was made.

Older adaptations aren't always better. I know many old movie adaptations of books that are actually quite terrible. Disney's version of the book Johnny Tremain (which I read in school and enjoyed) gets most of the book's details wrong and cuts out more than half the characters - and not just minor ones. It even botches the book's moral (plus it changes the book's sad ending to a happy one). It's sad that there hasn't been a more faithful adaptation.
Reviewing a movie more than once doesn't sound very professional. Unless your opinion on the movie has changed, there's no excuse to do another review.
People are allowed to like Frozen. I think it's a good movie - not the best movie I've ever seen, but I still enjoyed it. Still, I like other Disney movies too, and there's some Disney movies that I think are better than Frozen. I honestly feel that on the Internet, there's no middle ground when it comes to Frozen - either you love it to death or hate it to death.
It's pretty obvious that the Nostalgia Critic cares more about money than anything else. I think his 15 minutes of fame are over - he's definitely fallen from grace. Even Internet celebrities aren't immune to having their fame get the best of them.
As for cutaway gags, I think Seth MacFarlane's overuse of them has proven how banal they are.

I agree with you about different adaptations, I still watch those nonetheless. i'm mean, look at the lord of the rings.
And I absolutely with you about the nostalgia critic being greedy. it's also ungodly sad of how he gets to be as nasty, harsh and mean-spirited as he wants. like in his eight crazy nights review, there was constant running gag of him making fun of happy Madison fans as, and I'm quoting, "lowest common denominator yokels". I'm dead fucking serious. sure as terrible as most happy Madison films are, I still love happy Gilmore but now I feel like a retard, I did not watch the nostalgia critic just to see him act like the monster that he is now.
as for reviewing a movie more then once, you're right. it does not sound professional at all. he's keep doing for every single m. night shyamalan movie. hell, he keeps repeating the same shitty joke of using his amon persona of shyamalan himself (hope you know what I'm talking about). surprised that "nicktoons" didn't sue doug walker for this.
I somewhat know what you mean about cutaway gags, I still laugh my ass off at the ones in family guy. it's ironic that the nostalgia critic criticized both scrubs and family guy for doing those since we had to put up with his.

He used to have one (back when he did "Epic The RPG" back in High School). Nowadays, I think that Mr. Enter after his 100th Atrocity basically became a shell of his former self. The way I see it is that there is a difference between informative, and entertaining. Mr. Enter was considered informative long ago, but since he has been doing NOTHING but Animated Atrocities (and barely any Admirable Animations), it is starting to show how stale, and repetitive his reviews are getting. Since he has been getting to an all-time low because of this, he has also been developing an ego that is not deflating under any circumstance. And from what I hear, he has been taking it out on some of his fans.

I believe that he has been around since early 2013. The same year MoBrosStudios did the Top 25 Worst Spongebob Episodes. What made him popular (and sort-of controversial since he didn't give MoBros the credit for using the terminology: "Squidward Torture Porn") was his first Animated Atrocity (formerly Infamous Animation) "The Splinter". The next action that truly made Mr. Enter infamous, aside from pulling that IrateGamer-worthy act was his Admirable Animation of "Troll". That video he did was what gave him his lolcow monicre, and his own ED article. These actions were what made him popular: Controversy! And from the words of Eminem "Everybody needs some controversy, because it feels so empty without me!" (That is at least what I picture Mr. Enter's mentality), but nothing could stop him! He is like an unstoppable force, and his fans aren't going to stop it!
