this reminds me of a scene from the second chronicle of Tomas Covenant by Stephen Donaldson when the main characters venture out to find the One Tree. This is exaclty how I'd imagined it.

I love the water like crazy, The background is awsome...the only thing I'm not 100% crazy about is the tree, I like it about 80% as much as the rest of the picture

Very fantastical/mysterious looking. I think that it would have looked better as a tree in full bloom, all green and lush. That's only my opinion. But, if it did, it'd look more of like a mystical kind of Yggsdrazil tree (Hope I spelled that right...). It sure is nice looking the way it is now, though!

Beautiful colors. I particularily love the sky with all of it's clouds. the stars or meteors falling from the sky makes the picture look uber great.
The waves give the picture a chaotic motion, like something epic could have happened around this tree some time ago. It look like a place no one can reach. The tree itself looks truly mystic. Amazing job!
