Applejack is the middle oldest of the Mane 6, older than both Pinkie and Twi.

Applejack is the tallest of the Mane 6 and seems to tower above everyone but Twi.

Applejack’s physique can be compared to that of a Belgian/Draft horse.

Applejack not only helps run the apple farm with Big Mac, but also helps protect Sweet Apple Acres from the creatures of the Everfree Forest since the two are side by side. This means the occasional Timberwolf attack, who attempt to take their livestock.

Once Grand Pear returns to Ponyville, AJ assists her grandfather in creating a small grove of pear trees in her family’s memory. Later in life, the two are assisted in maintaining the pear grove by one of Big Mac's many children, Red Anjou.

Around the time that Big Mac’s foals will be born, Applejack injures herself from a hard day’s work at the farm and develops sciatica which ultimately leads her to becoming wheelchair-bound. While she can no longer buck with her back legs due to pain and weakness, she still pulls her weight at Sweet Apple Acres by collecting the produce that the others knock down, keeping an eye on her brother’s kids, tending to the farm animals, and taking the produce to market.
