Description Single Handicapped OC Pony looking for a good Role Playing Home. Must love Dungeons and Dragons.

I thought up this character when I was cruising a couple forums, and he definitely needed some major tweaking until I arrived at this form. The only problem is that I need a place to RP as him, which doesn't seem likely because of my reputation.

He's actually styled from Chris Perkins, Wizards of the Coast's dean of Dungeon Masters. (Only he's bald and not in a wheelchair.) What I wanted to see is this Chris taking some Ponies--which might include Cannonized characters; I think Twilight would be an advid Gamer--in an adventure or so, the camera shifts between the game world and the table where all the dice is rolling.

But anyway, here's his description:

-General Stuff-

Name:
Chris Red

Nickname/Alias(es):
"The Humble and Benevolent DM," Roller-Pony, Wheels.

Race:
Unicorn Pony with an Earth Pony-like coloring.

Gender:
Colt (Male)

Age:
Mid Adult, about 30 in human years.

Additional Status:
Wheelchair-bound. He can actually stand up when the situation calls it, but it takes great effort and pain, unless he's using his horn for anti-gravity.

-Physical Stuff-

Pelt Color:
Light Reddish Brown

Mane/Tail Color and Style:
Dark Brown. Mane tied back, tail has several bands.

Eye Color:
Dark Brown

Cutie Mark:
A twenty-Sided die; showing his talent in what might be a popular pastime in Esquestia: Tabletop RPGs.

Other Scars/Markings:
None

Physique:
His upper body is stronger than a usual unicorn, but that's only because his two front legs is doing all the walking. Of course, his wheelchair is powered.

-Social Stuff-

Current Residence:
Birthplace is an yet-to-be-named small town.

Job:
At the start of his story, he wishes to set up a RPG store in Ponyville.

Mother:
Earth Pony, name currently unknown.

Father:
Unicorn Pony, name currently unknown.

Sibling(s):
Other Family:
Closest Friends:
Courting/Courted By:
Mate:
Foal(s):

All of this is currently unavailable, maybe later on in the story they'd come up.

-Personality Stuff-

Likes:
Fiction stories, Tabletop RPGs, being the DM, telling stories.

Dislikes:
People who take his work way too seriously, Players who meta-play, Online Massive Multiplayer RPGs (He calls them overelaborate Skinner Boxes).

Motivation:
Being a part of Ponyville's geek community with his 'Item Shoppe'.

Strengths:
An very vibrant imagination and creative ability.

Weaknesses/Flaws:
Has a love-hate relationship with being in a wheelchair. He's like to think he's adjusted well, but his lack of running speed irks him at times. (Not to mention the need for ramps and wider restrooms.

(Do Equestria even have restrooms?)

Fears:
Being considered utterly useless because of his handicap.

Overall Persona:

Chris Red was always into Tabletop games since he was a kid. He's very supportive of Equestia's version of Dungeons and Dragons and even worked at Ponies of the Coast.

He lost the use of his legs one day in an carriage crash. While doctors were able to mend his injuries, the damage to his lower back was just too great. Being handicapped made him depressed for a time, until he realized that he can still play RPGs and can even DM. With his parent's support--having his cutie mark appear as he was DMing helped--he strove to use this talent to show that his life does go on after being paralized from the waist down.

As his story begins, he somehow decides that opening his own gaming store would be the best way to go in his life, and after some quick research, he decided that Ponyville needs an RPG shop. So once he got the needed permits from City Hall (and maybe even some backing from Canterlot; I might start with him on a shared balloon from Canterlot to Ponyville.) he stakes out a place to set up shop. Once he does, he makes a grand opening with a public demostration of D&D.

Little does he know about the crazyness that occurs in town, heh heh heh.

He's a very original character I must say! I've never seen a wheelchair bound pony, its a nice touch, lovely backstory too!

Thanks. I didn't get much response when I posted it, but that's pretty much what I wanted to get from Chris Red. (The original version was a tad too dark.)

I think its a shame about the little response, I think he's a lovely character, with a well balanced bio.

Maybe I can bring him back for a story or two (if I have the time for), but then again we do have "Friendship is Dragons" so it may be a little redundant.

Thanks. I was hoping I can use him in an MLP RP Board, but I don't think I'm welcomed in a good bunch of those places. If one of them would invite me, I would.
