It was so much fun to draw this big family again, it's been too long!

Sweetie Belle, as known by her family and friends, had a fickle heart as far back as childhood. Her schoolyard crushes would hop from one foal to another, and it seemed she had fallen in love with someone new every month or so. Everyone assumed she would grow out of it, but she didn't, causing for a rather interesting love life. Sweetie and Pipsqueak grew up as classmates and while they weren't particularly close, considered each other friends. After running into each other as an adults, and falling quickly into a passionate relationship, it took them a few months to realize they weren't a lasting match for each other. Sweetie Belle seemed to move on quicker than Pipsqueak, focusing more on her work and personal life than their breakup. After all, they were still friends. And when she realized that she was pregnant, the two quickly agreed to try and be the best co-parents they could. Little Shop was born, and they kept to their word. Their lack of romantic relationship did nothing to negatively impact their ability to raise their child, and they split their time evenly with her until Little Shop had the ability to voice her own interests and wants. With two parents who have such interesting careers, their child learned from a young age that sometimes one parent gets more time with you than the other. Since Sweetie Belle was a big traveler for her performances, it was only normal to Little Shop that she spent more time in the great outdoors with her Papa Pipsqueak, and she knew anytime her mother had spare time, they'd spend it together.

When Sweetie Belle and Rumble reconnected after years without seeing each other, it was because Sweetie had enrolled her daughter in his summer camp in Ponyville. Sparks flew between the two of them, to no one's shock, and they began seeing each other on casual dates. They'd grab coffee, maybe some lunch, or just catch out whenever they had a free moment, and Sweetie almost immediately became infatuated with Rumble. Their relationship progressed steadily, especially after Little Shop became aware of her mother's new romance, to which she was quite excited about. She thought Rumble was one of the coolest camp counselors ever, so any chance to see him in or out of camp was good fun for her! And while Little Shop was happy for her mom, she was a bit hesitant when she learned she was going to be a big sister.

Unlike with her previous partner Pipsqueak, Sweetie Belle and Rumble were still going strong through her pregnancy. He doted on her relentlessly whenever he was home, especially since she had taken off of traveling for work while expecting. And since she was in Ponyville for the entirety of her pregnancy, she decided to volunteer at Rumble's summer camp, giving the children voice lessons and assisting them in other activities, like arts and crafts. When it was time to welcome their foal into the world, Birdie's birth proved to be significantly tougher than Little Shop, leaving Sweetie Belle on bed rest to recover. With time and Little Shop as her own little 'nurse', Sweetie recovered quicker than expected, now with two little fillies of her own. Little Shop warmed up to Birdie eventually, only completely avoiding the baby when she started pulling on her hair.

After another year and a half, Sweetie was expecting once again. She and Rumble were just as excited as when they were pregnant with Birdie, but this time Sweetie Belle preferred doing a bit more performance work and a little less volunteering for camps and sitting around at home. Because of this, Rumble was almost always having to watch their firstborn while she left town for work, but he and Pipsqueak learned quickly to have each other's backs, always giving help if one or the other needed it. The two grew to be very close friends, especially because of their children. When it was time for Bright Star to be born, Pipsqueak took Little Shop and Birdie on a camping trip, more than happy to watch the girls so Rumble could be there for his partner. Rumble was overjoyed when another beautiful little filly was born, and even more so when birth was nowhere near as difficult as it was with their first baby. Bright Star seemed ready to observe and explore the word around her even before they all left the hospital, but usually went sprawling in every direction when she attempted to go off on her own. Fortunately, her big sisters had more than enough fun keeping an eye on her, always laughing at her shaky steps and excited whinnies.
