To the cops who are shoving peaceful protesters to the ground
To the cops who are driving their cars through crowds of people without stopping
To the cops who are forcing their horse mounts to trample over people who are just standing with a sign

To the cops who are spraying people with mace when they try to help someone up
To the cops who tell people to get away and chase them down to beat them when they try to run
To the cops who are grouping together to gang up on one person and assault them with their nightsticks
To the cops who are shooting paint canisters at unarmed civilians while they stand on their own front porch
To the cops

As most of y'all know, the US has been going to hell in a hand basket. I've been surrounded by the news, videos of protests, etc and I could feel myself vibrating with rage. So I decided to use my art to say something I truly believe in. And Lunule was the perfect character to make this come to life. She is an active advocate and regularly protests, and isn't afraid to jump into a brawl if it means protecting someone else.

To any POC that needs to hear this: I'm here for you. I will stand with you. I will do my best to protect you however I can because YOU MATTER. YOUR LIFE IS IMPORTANT. If anyone needs to talk to someone, I am always here to just listen and hear what you're going through. Black lives matter. You will always matter.
