Y'all really seem to like Pedha, so I wanted to give a little fun fact about her!

Pedha is absolutely terrified of balloons, or rather, the loud sound they make when popped. She has an almost immediate response, usually freezing up entirely. With her sensitive ears, any overtly loud sound puts Pedha on edge and makes her jumpy, but balloons are on the top of her fear list. This fear stems from being at a birthday party as a filly and the other foals wanting to play a game where they all tried to pop as many balloons as possible by stepping or sitting on them. Pedha tried to join in, but absolutely hated the overwhelming sound and feeling of breaking rubber snapping against her legs and rump. The inability to know exactly when a balloon would pop struck her with such fear as a child and she never fully got over it, even as a grown mare. Whenever a runaway balloon passes her in the street or at a festival, Pedha stops everything and hopes it will just pass her by. She understands her terror is odd, but she can't seem to escape her childhood fear.

I know someone who actually has this fear and I couldn't resist giving one of my characters the same problem!

Do y'all have any fears that could be considered silly or weird? I'm terrified of butterflies because of their illogical flight pattern and ability to always fly directly into my face
