Inktober was at some point supposed to be about ~accepting your mistakes in the form of permanent ink~ because of ~real art, man~

In the spirit of whatever that is, I have not digitally fixed any of my mistakes. I did however color-correct away from what my scanner did to these pages so my reds wouldn’t turn quite so pink, and the lettering is digital so it can be legible.

This little idea was one of the things that caused me to make the 13th guest at all; at some point I was doing a big sketchdump of crossover art which included ‘wilson is given scarf, winona lols because handmade’, and then I set that aside (and ended up never scanning it, and eventually redoing it) because I thought ‘hey people will be confused if they don’t know Knock-knock, which is less well-known than DST. I should make a brief little comic to show who lodger is and why he’s here, for funsies!’

Then I kept going on that for two years because I don’t know when to stop
