Description
All typed text in the drawings above is taken from The Lord of the Rings, by J.R.R. Tolkien. These quotations are included here as context for the images, which are meant to be a commentary on the work."Where is Uncle Smeagol going?"
"No idea, I hope he falls in a volcano."

This is going to be part of a bigger collection but I drew all those angry proto-Stoors and I want to showcase them.
In the movie they kick him out for murdering Deagol, which is nice and efficient, but the book says he hid the body and didn't get caught (I am sure there are suspicions, though; the really angry people on the left here are supposed to be especially suspicious); Smeagol gets exiled because he immediately starts using the Ring to be the biggest pain in the neck that ever pained.
They have no idea that the Ring exists. From their POV, their nerdy cousin went out with a friend, came back alone (and probably acting twitchy and weird), and then started being a horrible person to everyone, using things against people that he shouldn't possibly know about them, and when you call him out, he starts stealing things and making monster noises! You never find out why, which means you can never be sure it won't happen to anyone else...
When I was drawing the crying girl I was thinking she was someone who knew smeagol as a kid and is torn up about him turning so awful for seemingly no reason. I realize, however, that it's quite possible that she's crying because he's yelling something extremely nasty on his way out, so you can pick the interpretation you like.
