Wanted to draw some more Undyne (what else is new?
) but wanted to try my hand at something sad/angsty since I don't usually do those kinds of drawings (and I've seen at least one other drawing of Undyne crying at this spot in the junkyard, so I figured that would be good subject matter and location). I really, really like how this turned out. It's heartbreaking, but it's a beautiful image. And I think I'm finally starting to pin down my "look" for drawing Undyne :3[SPOILER]
And it could be considered canon, given a few of the neutral endings.

Also, while I don't ship Undyne seriously with anyone, you could call me a masochist for listening to Cascada's version of "What Hurts the Most" while I was working on this O_o Unless you really wanna drown in sad feels, don't listen to that while looking at this O_o

Thank you! And I realize it looks a little on the green side, but what I did was I took the same color yellow as her sclera and just darkened it, so... it's more like a dark yellow (does look a little confusing though).

I hope it. Because many talented artists in drawing and animating stop doing their wonderful work, because UT isn't so great anymore like before 3 years where it had it's big time. I discovered the game this year and I love it... especially Undyne.

I'm... semi-active? We're currently running a musical on YouTube on our channel, Combustible Pasta Studios, but lately I've been trying to put more of my free time into game development as a career. Undyne's still my favorite character, though, so I don't want to ever stop drawing her, even if those drawings are sporadic.

Unfortunately, I'm really busy, so I'm unable to offer drawing lessons... but YouTube is a great source for learning a lot of things, so that might be a good place to start. Tumblr and DeviantArt might also have tutorials as well.

Yeah, they are. I already saw some lessons on Youtube. But I think it's not all about lessons to learn drawing. Maybe... 10% learning and 90% just drawing. Learning by drawing sounds good I think, but you have more experience with that. Between us both you are the drawing professional.

Thank you! Yeah, this wasn't an easy picture to draw... ;-;
I use a Wacom tablet (primarily a Graphire 4, which is like several years old now O_o) and Photoshop Elements 10. Most of my work nowadays is entirely digital and done with these (I'll also occasionally use a Wacom Intuos Small if I'm on my laptop, but it's still Photoshop Elements either way... for not being the full Photoshop program, there's still a lot you can do with it :3).

No, this is not how she ends! “What?” If I’m not back in an hour, I’m sorry. “What are you going to do?” Take care of yourself Undyne. “Don’t go!” (You give her a kiss and jump down below.) Alphys, where are you!?! (You start searching for her.) No, no, no, no, this is not how she dies, this is not how it ends. (You see a piece of white cloth under some trash.) No, please no! (You frantically remove large chunks of trash, and uncover....) NOOOOOOOOOOO! (You fall on your knees and hold Alphys’s lifeless body.) Alphys, why? No! (You punch to the ground, filled with rage.) No! She doesn’t die here, not like this! (You open your soul canister and use a soul to give Alphys, another chance.) Come on Alphys, wake up. *cough* “What, how did you.” (You hug Alphys, with tears in your eyes.) It worked, you’re alive! “How is this possible.” That’s, not important, what is, is that people still, still care about you. Please, never do this again. “Ok, I won’t. But who cares about me?” Everyone, especially Undyne. “She does?” Time for you to find out. (You pick up Alphys and walk to Undyne.) “No, why’d he jump, he couldn’t have survived the fall.” (Undyne looks in the distance and see you holding Alphys.) “Oh my god.” (Undyne runs at you with tears in her eye.) “oh my god, you’re alive.” (You hand Undyne Alphys.) “I’m so sorry Undyne.” “It doesn’t matter, you're alive, and that all I want.” I’ll, leave you 2 to have some alone time. (You start to walk away.) “Wait!” What? (You turn around and Undyne hugs you, almost knocking you over.) “Thank you, thank you so much.” (You hug Undyne and wipe the tears out of her eye.) I couldn’t let you suffer like this, you’ve suffered enough. “Thank you.” (You walk away and jump down, and sit under the waterfall.) *sigh* No one deserves to die. (You rest your hand on your hands.)

If you don't mind spoilers for the game...
When Undyne first met Alphys, the scientist was looking very "contemplative" as Undyne put it (she was staring out into this dark abyss over the edge of a waterfall, contemplating suicide; Undyne very likely saved Alphys' life that day by striking up a conversation). Since then, she's still been suicidal, and Undyne has been watching out for her. In some of the neutral endings, however, Alphys goes missing, and Undyne, fearing/knowing the worst, loses all her energy, often muttering to herself "I couldn't save her." (Here, Undyne has just run/swam around the underground, looking for Alphys just about everywhere, when she thinks of the one place she hasn't {and can't} look for her: the bottom of the waterfall in the garbage dump.)
Yeah, Undertale can get really dark ._.
