Just to take the edge offI tried linework. It's been a long time since I've done proper line art but I really want to get better at it. This is just one way of doing it of course. I'll be playing around with some different techniques.

Well your line art isn't bad at all. You even managed to fit your gradient in it. It looks really nice

That's some really nice linework! I used to dislike the process of line-art; it can be tedious indeed and like you said, sometimes it just destroys the sketch.. Now I can actually enjoy it, I suppose it's a matter of finding what suits you best, personally I like doing thick line-art that's not 'too' neat to somehow preserve the feel of the sketch. Hopefully you'll find your method as well! ^^

Thanks! Yeah lines are still kind of a struggle for me but I think I just need to figure out a method that works for me. I find inking to be a very arduous process. And if you're not careful, it can just flat-out kill the energy of whatever sketch you had.
