Oh wow. I actually drew this in April 2010 and for some reason, completely forgot about it! I never actually submitted it. I don't know why, because I'm quite chuffed with this
It was done for the 100 themes challenge . When I thought of the theme "Expectations" I immediately thought of a begging dog. I also really wanted to do a coloured-pencil dog drawing like the one I did for the Cat . So I looked for a reference image and found this: [link]
