and before you set off keep an eye out for a demon and black haired girl the demons name is inuyasha and the girl is called kagome.
they are currently searching for the crystal shards, like the one given to you by koga if you happen to still have the shard you'll be likely to meet them sooner or later.
they are not bad people so give them the shard and tell no-one that you are in possesion of the crystal as demons will hunt you down. that is probably why the demons appear all the time.
the sooner you don't have to shard the better.

I happen to have it in a bottle with me. Red went back for it and hid it from us. His appearance had changed, we forcefully took it from him. I will need a better description of them, i may not respond for quite some time now, We may reach the next village sooner, for I carry the elder upon me, as well a few children. We are being followed however. Violet brought it to my attention shortly after battle.

the reason I warned you about about them is because kagome can sense the crystal shards. And I forgot to mention that if you handle a crystal for too long you can become consumed by it's power and become hungry for more, so It's a good thing that you took it away from red. He should be fine now.
kagome has long black hair, brown eyes,and is wearing a uniform that is green red and white, she also has a bow and arrows.
Inuyasha is wearing mostly red so you'll probablyrecognise him , he has gold eyes and long silver hair and a bad temper too.because he is a demon he has dog ears (Don't ask why and sharp nails too).

the guy following you ... I think it's someone called naraku hes really bad news. He has disguised himself as a white monkey and when he's not disguised he has long dark hair and a big burn on his back that resembles a spider, his eye are red.

It is true I constantly feel threatened, however lesser creatures now keep their distance. Little wore himself down demanding the shards, I placed him under my cap to keep him safe and close by.

...There is a black boulder bound with a crimson rope. upon the rope are several papers with black markings. The boulder seems to form the base of the spider. For some reason I am unable to even approach the area.

the boulder has some kind of seal bound to it, in order to get back to your world or where you end up next you'll need to beak the seal somehow.
you must find a holy person or a shrine maiden of a high level to dispell it for you.
and as you said so yourself travelling at night in not wise.
