Final airbrushed work based on a sketch I did quite a while ago. This version is 18 inches by 24 inches (45cm x 60 cm). All freehand airbrushed.

This idea started from a shot I got at a car show of a yellow 23 bucket T. Then I came up with the idea of telling the story of how hot rodding is passed down from generation to generation. Almost everyone that gets bitten by the speed bug had an uncle, dad, grandfather or something that took them on a hellride or handed them the keys. My Uncle was that guy for me.
