"What a cute pussycat, look, it eats from my haaaAAAAAAAAAAAaaannnd....!"
Well, this image is too good to let it's really minor flaws without words. Please note that this is my personal opinion and I can be wrong.
I don't think it good idea to use shallow DoF here. I'd rather see all them sharp. You had plenty of light for that, Nikon D300 can easily handle this or higher ISO and smaller aperture, and even slower shutter (EXIF doesn't state the focal length, so this latter may be out of options). Or, as an alternative, I'd took the middle cat into focus as (s)he is looking majestic and tigerish while the other two are not so. This wouldn't steal the cuteness of the stretching and yawning in front, and even would give sharper counterpoint. The balance of the composition would fairly let both of these approaches.Β
But it is just an opinion. Perhaps if the middle one would be pinsharp, the image would turn into a dull and thousand time seen one, but I don't think so. The overall quality is so fine, sharpness and exposure is so well maintained that it would have enough accent to rule the common shots of the theme.
Oh, and I love those whiskers

Hey frist of all thanks for the long note Β
i donΒ΄t think your are wrong in any way, Β
I normally don't set the iso very high, because off i have once or a few times set it to high so all the pictures were totally noisy Β
I wouldt have liked that the whole picture was totally sharp but i use a 300mm (not zoom)
and i have not jet masteret, takeing pictures with out the ''fog'' Β but i like it on other pictures
The middle tiger, has an awesome look, and would make the pitcure mabye a little better Β
And the Whiskers epic cuteness hihi Β
Adn Thanks again for your opinion, means alot

A wonderful picture with a great moment. But I am kind of two parted in regard of the technic of the picture. On one hand I think it's really nice that the one tiger which is not a quite as the other ones is the only one who is shown in detail (you know I mean the focus). One the other hand I would also like it if all tigers were shown on detail but this is just my meaning and the picture really amazing
