Another Bust portrait for as a gift for of their character, Kali!This character was an absolute pleasure. The tendrils felt like home to me, since my sona has a whole bunch herself! Gorgeous character.. so fun to draw.

My other bab HHHHHHHHHHHH......hnnng. ;__;
I admittedly hadn't expected at the time I would be getting two of these, and I'm still gushing over the first one, but the second one OH MY GOD. Firstly, the background. You balanced this out SPLENDIDLY. It doesn't draw too much attention away from Kali herself, while you still managed to sneak eye-candy amounts of detail into the firmament and the grainy breeze drifting by her. The crescent planet was a really beautiful touch as well, and you showed your careful attention to detail in the way the planet is pointing toward the light source. And then Kali herself....you nailed the scales, the dim bio-luminescence and subtle markings, and I love the way each ridge is shaded, from the neck to the horns themselves. I also love that added touch of a "pupil" to indicate where her gaze is pointing, and the way you've angled the barb crest.
I'm just in awe that you pulled this off. It has that eastern presence with the desert, and then it was married to that subtle undertone of other-worldliness that implies she hails from a faraway place. Gah...this is just so beautiful. BOTH are really beautiful! Thank you once again for the both of them, this was a really pleasant surprise and put a smile in my day. ^^
Also I've been dealing with a very aggressive art block for months, seeing these gave me a much needed boost to my drive again.

It was such a huge pleasure doing these two, and Kali was definitely my favorite one! Deserts were sort of a newer background to try, but I'm glad I made it somewhat right for this scene and your character. Kali is super gorgeous, by the way! 
Gah, I know how those terrible art blocks can be. Would love to see any and all future works from you, whenever you can

I really love how this turned out! The background clashing with her glow especially. Kali came out so well in your style. I really made the right choice commishing you! I really love how the glow of the desert is on her shoulder/back spines. Very, very nice touch.
