Demon Slayers are able to go into a Battle/Assault Mode; it can change their appearance but also increase their strength and power, making it harder for their opponent. However a Demon Slayer can’t hold their Battle Mode forever because it drains their energy and they’ll have to wait until they can regain it. It’s mainly why Demon Slayers don’t really use it unless they’re up against a powerful foe or a high ranking demon
